Privacy Policy

This explains how information is handled when you use behindthestabledoors.com or make a fictional North Pole Personnel File.

Last updated: 28 September 2026. For privacy enquiries, email admin@elneve.com.

What you give us

To make a personnel file, the form asks for your first name, email address, mobile number and answers to four fictional questions. We use these to register your request and generate the file shown on the website. You can save or print the result as a PDF using your browser.

You do not have to make a file to follow the WhatsApp Channel. If you do not complete the required form fields, we cannot register and generate a file through this form.

Why we use it

We use your form details to provide the file you requested and to administer and protect the registration system. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interests in providing and operating this interactive experience. We do not use this form as permission to send marketing emails or texts. Submitting it does not subscribe you to the WhatsApp Channel.

We may also receive an email if you contact us. We use it to respond to your enquiry. Technical information such as IP addresses may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.

Where the details go and how long they stay

Form registrations are stored in this website’s WordPress database, hosted by SiteGround. Website administrators can view and export them. Registrations are scheduled for deletion after 365 days; website backups may retain copies for their normal backup cycle. We may keep an enquiry for as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep a record of it.

We use hosting and website service providers to operate the site. We do not give your form details to WhatsApp simply because you make a file, and this form does not send an email or SMS. If you choose to open or follow the WhatsApp Channel, WhatsApp handles that activity under its own privacy terms. Information handled by providers may be processed outside the UK; contact us for details of the relevant safeguards.

Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for information about cookies and similar technologies used on the site.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask us to restrict its use or object to our use of it. In particular, you have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email admin@elneve.com and tell us which email address you used for your file so we can find your registration.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.

Adults and changes

Behind the Stable Doors is intended for people aged 18 or over. The form does not ask for or verify your date of birth. We may update this policy if the site or the way we handle information changes; the date above will show when it was last updated.
